We are a ministry at Saint Ann Church that will lead pro-life events at the parish, teach the congregation about the Church's teachings on life, and spread awareness for the pro-life cause in all walks of life. The subjects we were charged with focusing on in particular include:
Members of the ministry independently work on the projects that interest them in small groups, and we convene once a month to share updates and plan future events. Currently, we have volunteers working to coordinate pro-life prayer outreach outside of abortion facilities, volunteers who plan pro-life prayer services at the parish, and a team that organizes ongoing donations of handwritten cards for Hoboken's senior population. There are many angles to the pro-life movement, and many controversial subjects to cover. The ministry is still new and growing, so if you present us with an idea and you are willing to spearhead it, we can probably incorporate it into our mission.
You don't have to be an "expert" in any of the topics above in order to join. In fact, if you're looking to learn more about them, we would love to help! Reach out to us or come to our next public event. The Respect Life Ministry would love to meet you!

I would like to say a special word to women who have had an abortion. The Church is aware of the many factors which may have influenced your decision, and she does not doubt that in many cases it was a painful and even shattering decision. (EV, 99)
