Do you show your love through cooking and baking? Join us in a new ministry at St. Ann’s!  We provide delicious homemade meals to parishioners who are unable to shop and prepare meals for themselves because of life circumstances such as the birth of a child, the passing of a loved one or recovery from surgery, etc.  So if you enjoy cooking and want to help others in the parish this is the ministry for you!
Please contact the parish office at parishoffice@stannhoboken.com or call the parish office: 201-659-1114 and leave a message including your name and telephone number.
(formerly Cusack Center)
Peace Care St Joseph’s (formerly known Cusack Center), located at 537 Pavonia Avenue in Jersey City, (a short walk from PATH Journal Square Bus Terminal), is a ‘Not for Profit Organization’ sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Peace.  They provide high-quality, faith-based care to the members of the Hudson County community.
HOW CAN WE HELP? Primarily, companionship.  If you have a calling to visit with those in nursing and assisted facilities, this is the ministry for you.  Volunteers can choose to visit the long-term residents who may not have family near them or have them visit often and are just happy to see a smiling face and have a simple conversation.  Peace Care St Joseph’s is also an active center with plenty of activities in which volunteers can choose to participate in the monthly afternoon birthday parties or their twice-weekly bingo events in the evenings. Days and hours are flexible!
