The “Honoring our Past…Building our Future” Restoration Campaign is a very important and historic endeavor which will ensure that St. Ann Church flourishes both spiritually and physically for many generations to come.
The restoration will be performed in phases. Phase 1 will address the exterior of the Church which includes the resetting of the tile roof, the replacement of the windows, gutters and pointings and the replacement of the HVAC system, which is currently in progress. We will begin with the exterior because it needs to be properly sealed to prevent and inhibit further water leakage into the Church, which is the main source of damage to the interior. Phase 2 will address the interior of the Church which includes plastering, painting and all the finishing work. A detailed listing of all repairs can be found on the campaign brochure link to this website.
Our restoration campaign goal is $2.5 million, pledged to be paid over 3 years. While this may sound like a huge amount of money, it is a very realistic goal based on the repairs required. And it is with a grateful heart that I am pleased to share that through the generosity of many people, our total pledge commitment and cash as of September 13, 2014 is $685,162, a true sign of God’s graces present in this campaign.
In order to keep you all up-to-date on our progress, we have updated the St. Ann Church website to include a section for the Restoration Campaign. Updates will also be provided in the bulletin and our progress will be communicated at Mass regularly.
Please ask Our Lord to direct you in your generosity to do what you can to help make this restoration effort a success. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity.
